Information we collect

When you subscribe to our newsletter or request a free printable, we collect your email address. We also collect anonymized usage data through the analytics tools described below — pages visited, approximate location derived from your IP address, device and browser type, and how you arrived at the site.

How we use it

Your email is used only to send the content you signed up for. We do not sell or rent your information to third parties. Newsletter and printable signups are processed by Kit (formerly ConvertKit), our email service provider — Kit stores your email address, sends the confirmation and delivery emails, and handles unsubscribes. We use double opt-in, so you’ll receive one confirmation email before you’re added to the list.

Analytics and session recording

We use Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity to understand which content is useful and where the site is confusing. Google Analytics 4 collects the anonymized traffic data described above.

Microsoft Clarity additionally records anonymized session replays and heatmaps — your clicks, scrolls, and pointer movement on the page. Text typed into forms is masked before it leaves your browser, so the contents of the email field and any other input are never transmitted to or visible to us. Replays are not linked to your name or email address.

Cookies

We use cookies for basic site functionality and for the analytics tools above. Advertising partners, when active, may use cookies to serve relevant ads. You can control cookies through your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics on every site using Google’s opt-out browser add-on.
